Might as well tip my hand; I guess if I'd have to label myself; I'd be a Secular Humanist. I think religion is a wonderful thing; especially when not forced on others who don't want it. Frankly, I hope everyone who feels like her WILL boycott Starbucks; maybe I'll get thru the drive-thru faster!
Since Starbucks isn't touted as a "Christian" company, then why would someone be offended because they put something "unchristian" on there? And what about the poor Agnostics, Bhuddists, Muslims and Athiests who have had to read all the "Christian" qoutes??? Again, it's another symptom of our oh so "PC" society - we get offended over anything that is remotely offensive to us rather than acknowledging the differences, embracing and learning from them. It would be one heck of a boring world if we all thought and believed the same!!! There is more than one viewpoint on life, why we're here, who/what else is here with us, and I for one enjoy learning about the different viewpoints - doesn't mean I have to change to any of them.
