Is being Christian punishing the ones who lose their way?

Or giving the other cheek?

Or the one who embraces the lost thus showing him the way?

Is being Christian feeling superior to all other religions' followers?

And thus justify one's governance and greed?

The teachings of the Christian religion have many points that Christians can't agree on themselves but the central theme is faith and the disagreements have always existed in one form or another but they are not particularly important in the overall scheme of things. It's not what I believe but I think that's a pretty good simplified explanation from an atheist.
I think it's a pretty good definition, too. Actually, in my opinion, it's a far more acceptable definition than some of the ones I hear from my fellow Christians.

Or the one who remembers to ask himself all day

"What would Jesus do?"

to me I think it's like trying to define what good is. Or define what black is in terms of race.

I don't think there's anything specific to define what a Christian is aside of one that believes in the Christian god.

While I am usually one who will throw some criticism at religion, I have to note that not all Christians are European. Christianity exists on 6 continents. They don't all persecute Jews and while most of the republican voting base is Christian, not all Christians vote red. So by default, none of these things makes one a Christian...

What is a Christian?

A strange sub-specie of humans that pounds on doors uninvited to spout strange theories about the mythological.
