Whether you want to hear it or not, here it goes....

We have a BIG church here in Glendale and their initials are "CCV", they have cute stickers made up for cars and you see them everywhere. Before I figured out what it was I thought it was some community center or something as I saw it in every part of town.

Now my vent.... I'm getting sick of horrible, rude, nasty drivers that have that sticker on their cars! They do their stupid, rude driving and then I notice the sticker and then I get even more mad at them! Aren't christians supposed to be caring and loving? To me, it's hypocritical. They actually go to church and put their "holy" sticker on their car and then drive like a maniac cutting off people, aggressively tailgating and stuff. What is wrong with these people? I'm almost to the point to call the church up and complain about their churchgoers. It just makes me more sick of religion and big churches.

LOL! I live in Surprise and see those stickers all over the place! I agree that I usually notice them because I was just cut off or something. For some reason many Christians seem to think we don't need to drive like Christians. I'm ashamed to stay that I didn't put a fish on my current car because I was afraid of being a bad witness. I'm not a bad driver. I don't race around or drive aggressively, and I try to let people in so that they don't have to cut me off. Still, I've accidentally done things that could anger other drivers.

Overall, I have to say that I agree with you. It's annoying!

Hey, you sure you are in AZ, that sounds like many of my neighbors. Maybe some of these good ole Southern boys moved there.

Honestly, I don't know what to tell you on this one. Road rage is something that seems to be increasing more and more.

Maybe these people are just so stressed out they take it out on other drivers, and maybe asking God to give these people peace and take away their anger would be a good start.

Oh my gosh I hear ya! I'm from Utah which is predominently Christian. You should see the drivers here! Here' a cute little story I read in another forum:

A man was being tailgated by a woman on Foothill Boulevard in Salt Lake City. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have
beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman slammed on her brakes and leaned on the horn. She opened her window, stuck her hand out and made a gesture, all the while screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection with him. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on
her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.
The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands raised. He handcuffed her and took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see; I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the *Choose The Right* license plate holder, bumper stickers that read *Families Are Forever* and *Follow Me To Sunday School*, and the chrome-plated Angel Moroni emblem on the truck. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car.

Around here the worst drives have little schools of 'jesus fish' on the back. There is some large christian music performance in June being HEAVILY advertised with bumper stickers as well, and I have been almost hit, cut off, rear-ended and side-swiped by many of the people with this dude's picture on the back.

It's just standard hyprocrity. They think they are better then everyone else, so the rules for everyone don't apply to them.

If anything....use the stickers like flashing 'warning' sticker.

I needed a good laugh, thank you for this. Unfortunately, I can see this really happening somewhere.

Unfortunately? I think it's great if it did happen.
