To all my friends, and even my dedicated on-line enemies, I offer a heartfelt wish that you have a prosperous and positive New Year. Prosperity may well be in a spiritual sense only, as God only knows things are a bit shaky economically!

These fora have provided a lot of stimulating, educational opportunities for all of us. We get to hone our debating skills, and to educate others and ourselves in the areas of our particular interest. We probably don't change the minds of too many people, by my observation, but it probably stands us in better stead in our day-to-day conversations back in the real, unprotected world!

In particular, I applaud the moderators all. wouldn't like their job! fortuately I hear they're really well paid, and operate all expenses paid off a beach condo in the Bahamas!

So go forth and communicate with your fellow man and woman. With a happy heart and love in your heart!

Peace and Love to All!

Thanks rifleman, I hope you have a good 2010 as well. Your threads and posts make the forum much more interesting. I also appreciate the work of the mods and agree that it's a thankless job but they do their best and it keeps a certain amount of civility in place. On a more trivial note, I've heard people refer to next year as both "Twenty Ten" and "Two Thousand And Ten". I prefer Twenty Ten but then it doesn't take much to get my puny mind to get all wound up about something of such little importance. Whatever you want to call it I sincerely hope it's a positive year for all of my friends here (and yes, even the ones who aren't that friendly).

Yes, happy new year to everyone!

I hope to have many informative (and not so informative) debates with you all and spout silly one-liners in the year to come, provided I don't get banned in the process.
