I think there are differences -- but I have trouble articulating such differences ...

Those two are the only options?

Not about "options" -- it's about "differences".

I have no idea what context this is in, but I would suppose that "invisible" is much more narrow than "undetectable"; as in, invisible means undetectable by sight only, but it says nothing about detectability with any of the other senses. "Undetectable" would include invisible but also include being not detectable using any of the other senses as well.

Invisible doesn't necessarily mean it would be irrational to believe it exists because you can prove it exists. On the otherhand, it would be irrational to believe there is such a thing as an undetectable boss because it can't be proven to exist. If an invisible universal boss were to be proven to exist then it would be logical to believe/follow it while an undetectable boss is just that, undetectable. It would therefore be irrational to believe/follow it because it is not proven. A good example of this is the god belief. God is conveniently undetectable by empirical methods and therefore should not be considered a universal boss that exists. On the otherhand, if someone claims that an invisible tooth fairy is the universal boss and that their existence can be proven through infrared testing, thus if testing proved said entity's existence then it would be logical to accept their existence.

Ah, I see.

Well, you can throw flour on the invisible boss and tell he’s there.
However, Undetectable boss is just undetectable and you may as well not even try.
Best to just ignore Undetectable boss.

And a boss is only your boss if you subjugate your self to him.

There would be a difference if the invisible god interacted with us.

I think the non physical god seems exactly like a imaginary god.
