Voyerur
Why look at this post? Before it is taken off, it is a philosophical question. Why look?

.. because I thought the title "voyerur" was a newer (more exciting) version of "voyeur", miamiteacher.

I looked because I wanted to see if you were going to teach us how to spell.

I was hoping that someone with the word 'teacher' in their screen name who couldn't spell 'voyeur' would at least provide us with a racy picture of one.

I looked and I'm female (not insinuating anything about gender). I look for the "buzzwords" in a thread and voyeur caught my eye. Do I like to watch? I am more of the vicarious type but wanted to "see" what was up. It has nothing to do with philosphy (in my opinion).
I do empathize with you on your OP, as sometimes I have misspelled.

Isn't reality television a form of voyeurism?
We all do it more or less.
It's human nature.

I had a girlfriend many years back that liked parading back and forth in the nude in front of her big bay livingroom window on a regular basis. In a way I found it kind of hot because she had a smokin' bod and people could see what I was tapping when I came over to her house. On the other hand, it was somewhat awkward as well, when she insisted on having sex in front of that big bay window, as I was not interested in people watching ME.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share that.
It's late and I had nothing better to write about.

Perhaps a watered down version of voyeurism could be appled to reality tv. I don't watch many reality shows because it seems more exploitive then anything else.
We all do it more then less.
And it is human nature.
