JerZ, the premise of your thread is interesting. Who knows? It makes as much sense as some theories, and more than most.
I am sorry for the passing of your father, Pleroo.

p.s. Wow, I actually started this thread nine years ago.

Reincarnation indeed! Or maybe just zombiism?

Here's something funny: I was the one to resurrect the thread this time (after three-quarters of a year) after Googling "Is this actually hell?" or something like that, and one of the FIRST results was a link to this thread. LOL.

Hell will be much worse than this as there will be loneliness and darkness. I find it ridiculous when people would rather spend eternity in hell then Heaven serving the Lord. The devil has done a swell job of dragging what seems like multitudes to Hades and will succeed even more in the future.

The thing that makes this place a living hell are humans. All the hell that is not nature related is caused by humans...mostly caused by men, as seen throughout the history of civilization up through today.

I think it's either I was bad in a previous life or I am punished for being the seed of a horrible man.
No reason to think there is some sort of celestial scorekeeper dispensing righteous judgment upon you.

There is simply no guarantee you will find yourself holding a good hand in life, any more than in a card game.

Of course it's always useful to ask, what role might I be playing here, or in what way might I be the common denominator? But don't assume you are 100% responsible for everything either. And certainly don't take personal responsibility for the horribleness of others. That is on them for their use of their free will.

I know but if I hadn't have been such a pushover in the past I would have been better off and it's like people still try to push me almost like they know that I was one. They find that little crack in me since I still have the scars. There were also too many mistakes that caused certain situations to unfold.

About our current reality; Elon Musk has said that there is only a “one in billions” chance that we’re not living in a computer simulation.

You are partly right. Anywhere outside God's realm is supposed to be hell-like. Earth is supposed to be hell-like ever since Adam was kicked out of Eden (Eden is within God's realm). Since then humans are living outside God's realm. The Bible actually describes that the devil is the god of this world.

Humans after Adam are thus born to be sinners as we are born in a sinful world where Satan is said to be the god. However God is still having a job to do here. He hasn't given up the offspring of Adam as a whole. He's working on bringing some us back to His realm (where we call heaven) LEGITIMATELY and under OPEN WITNESSING.
