I have a hard time picturing someone actually saying, "Eat Jesus now!"

But maybe it's a Catholic thing.
I know, right!?
Yes, it would be a Catholic thing...tho I have never heard it that way...Eat Jesus now!...
I still shake my head. Geeze, the nutty defenders of the Host!

Yes, he was an overweight, hair thinning, nervous type, white American guy...lacked confidence and clarity when he apologized in that back area, as you walk in...
the kind that has never dated a girl, probably 40.
He said he worked at the Catholic Journal newspaper.
I'd guess he lived at home.

A few years ago at vacation bible school, some of my husband's youth group boys plotted a water gun blitzkrieg against me (I had it coming, lol). The problem: the day of the attack I just happened to be wearing a white t-shirt. Of course, being teenage boys, they chose not to abort the mission

This last Christmas, I went to Christmas Eve services at the church I grew up in. The same pastor is still there from when I went there as a child.

He said that the angels appearing in the sky over Bethlehem was the world's first flash mob.

I gotta say, I thought it was funny and creative at least.

My first reaction is that he's struggling a bit for relevancy ... but he does deserve props for creativity and humor, I will agree. For someone who may be preaching his 20th Christmas Eve service, at least he's not sleep walking through it.
