Faith is the same whether it is considered “religious” or not. For example, those who say they have no religious belief of faith actually have faith in their chosen belief. Everyone has faith, some simply say that they are not "religious".
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Heb 11: 1)

Seeings how there are a number of different religions in the world, all claiming to have the "religious truth" but differing in that truth. It is only by faith that they can make this claim for there is no evidence of their truth, it only lays in the subjective mind of each person.
Your belief is your faith. Your faith simply dictates that you stuff the Creator in a “box” and attempt to explain it away as myth while ignoring overwhelming evidence and law.
Ignoring design requires far more faith than acknowledging it’s presence.
