You can only ignore the prophecies of the Bible, if your are willing to ignore historical truth. I don't see this kind of truth in the Vedic prophecies. I have listed some of the historical details of Biblical prophecy. What historical details can you show us, that would confirm the Vedic prophecy?

Ancient Vedic Predictions And Prophecies

If those are the best of the Vedic predictions, I would be looking for a different faith to believe in. Men will devote themselves to earning money? Wow, what a surprise. Who could of predicted that? The Bible is far more detailed, and tells you what will occur with a people, a place, and a time. The Old Testament alone gives us over 300 prophecies that speak of the coming of Jesus Christ. And also gives us many more prophecies that speak of the last days. And the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel and Jerusalem. The sealing of Jerusalems East Gate. And the rebuilding of the third Jewish Temple on Mt. Moriah. Both the New, and Old Testament speaks of the Anti Christ to come, and what is going to happen when they arrive. It appears the Vedic predictions have no knowledge of such things, and that is why all it's prophecies are so vague, and general.

The Vedic prophecies are just like those found in your Bible. ...vague and ambiguous and able to fit anything you want them to fit.

The Vedic prophecies say nothing about the Jewish people returning from a worldwide exile. Nor do they give us three hundred prophecies that describe a person who will die for the sin of the world. They do not say anything about a Temple being built on Mount Moriah in the lastdays. They don't say anything about Jerusalems East Gate having a porch Gate added to it, and being sealed until the prince to come opens it. Your belief that these specific prophecies are ambiguous. Is a belief that is (ONLY) built on denial, and nonsense. The Biblical prophecies are specific. They deal with a single people, a single place, and a specific time. Of course, you want to believe they are ambiguous. Yet, there are way to many details given to allow for that. And only by being dishonest with yourself, could you hope to dismiss them that easily. The person who is the true Author of these prophecies, knew in advance that these prophecies would be fulfilled. And that is why these prophecies are so accurate. And based on these prophecies, Christians knew hundreds of years before that the Jewish people would be returning to the land of Israel and Jerusalem, and before the return of Jesus Christ. So it appears these prophecies were not ambiguous to those Christians. Which only shows the error of your arguement.

the vedas are not realy about prophecies but more about knowledge of the Supreme, although certain things are mentioned-they did predict the birth of Bhudda and Lord Chatanya and a few other deitys-

why are you so cought up on prophecies if you want to base your relegion on prophecies then why dont you go worship nostradamus he brilliant at prophecies and why would the vedas talk about jerusalim (i guess you didnt read that link i sent you either)

Nostradamus borrowed much of his beliefs from Bible prophecy, and he used many occult means to get his other prophecies. Which the Bible warns against. The Bible is the one Book in which the prophecies actually came form God. All other prophecies often have obvious errors found in them. And according to the Bible, only a true prophet of God will speak with 100% accuracy. A true diety will reveal hidden truth, a false diety does not know the truth. And that is why, if you are look to know the future, only the Bible can reveal that to you. All the other Gods, are false deitys, who have no knowledge of the future. And that is because, only the true God has such knowledge.

...and the only place you will find confirmation that those prophecies were fulfilled is the Bible. The Bible said something will happen and the Bible confirms that it did.....so it must be true. With logic like that it's no wonder you come out with the thing you do.

Only with ALOT of wishful thinking, convenient interpretations and pounding square pegs into round holes.
