Then you need to attract the MONEY. People with money are not going to worship their god in the same place as common people, so they have to have somewhere fit for the MONEY to come to worship.

Haven't you ever gone into a nice hotel which was well decorated and 'felt' that it was worth paying the room charges? Well, people like to get what they pay for. BIG donations pay for BIG churches. Wealthy landowners want a special chapel for them and their family to be buried in.
ya>> but can someone pull a verse out of one of the oldest untampered bibels>>or qu'ran?? that says you must build extravagant places to worship in???

remember everytime you walk into one of those fancy buidings that it could be the gateway to satans grill!!! i can't believe a loving caring god would want his followers to build such extravagant places for people to worship in!!! when millions of children that are to young to know evil are in such poverty here on earth...>>on the other hand i can see satan wanting his subjects to build extravagant places to worship him, satan likes pain, suffering, tourture, idols, symbols.. the more suffering the happier satan is

remember^^ that next time you enter a place of worship.. it wasn't built by [god]>> but by the hands of man

Both were destroyed.

Today Christ has been risen and lives on, within his followers. Today the saints are the 'body' of Christ, members in particular. Today we form the 'temple'. Different metaphors to describe the same thing but from different facets.

Man may build anything he wishes to build, it has nothing to do with God or God's people. There is one temple today, one body of Christ, one church; and it is not a building made with stone.

However many small minds get confused and seem to need a building made of stone; unfortunately such buildings lead to heresy doctrines and groups thinking that their buildings have some holiness to them.
Do you have the Authority to make the call of heresy? I didn't think so. Hence, you can not be trusted to determine heretical doctrines. So spare us your barbed opinion for that is all it is and all that it is worth, which is nothing.
