Do you watch tv series like Planet Earth or life on Discovery Channel? I'm not looking for a debate on evolution here...just wondering if this stuff is allowed or disallowed in your households since it discusses evolutionary traits in many of the animals they focus on.

I love to watch those shows! I believe science shows us how God did it!

Sure, we watch them. There is actually some good knowledge to be gleaned from these programs. Sometimes I sit in wonder when our eighth grader pokes serious holes in some of the “theories” – which are actually hypothesis – presented in some of these programs. We also find that there are contradictions, not only from program to program but sometimes there are contradictions within the same program.

Yeah right. I think I saw your eight grader at his last school science fair "punching holes" in evolution:

Folks, be wary of any creationist claiming they (or especially their kids) punched holes in anything to do with science or evolution. They couldn't punch holes in a styrofoam cup.

Funny your eight grader can't see the hundreds of glaring contradictions and fallacies in The Bible and Christianity. That good ole' fundie brainwashing at work.

My friend, if you believe everything they present in those programs then you’re no smarter than a fifth grader.

Is this the sort of thing your eighth grader pokes holes in? If it is, can you show me those holes?
