They think humans are special because we can reason?? because we have feelings or can build things? I recently had a long talk with a friend of mine on a car ride home. He kept saying that the world was made for humans to use. EVERYTHING on the earth was made for humans>??? how the hell is that possible.
I think Christians are the ones who are destroying this world....
When they think this world was made for them... Its like saying the world is theirs and if its theirs, they can do WHAT EVER THEY want with it. and so far thats been ****ing it up!
my friend said every one has choices... He said that to almost thing i brought up. "people have the choice to do good or bad".... zzzz wtf does that mean
I feel humans like all living things are on this earth to reproduce and keep their blood lines going in future generations. JUST LIKE ANY ANIMAL!
We wake up poop, pee, eat, drink and sleep just like animals, yet christians think we are some sort of super animal??? lol.. are you kidding me

Anyways if you have something to say about this i'de like to read it.

That friend of yours has a worldview rooted in a millennia old theology.

The way to bring it up sharp is to assert that it is more likely that we are an animal like any other except our talents are in problem -solving rather than leaping from branches, changing colour or even color, flying, or sniffing fifty - eight different smells on the wind (around our way, I could do without that ability) and good or bad are human constructs without any intrinsic validity.

That would probably start a vociferous discussion and perhaps lose you a pal if you dared to question his bald assertions, but you'd at least have a discussion.

If we are animals, we are the top of the food chain, that's for sure!!

Not as nature intended, though. We are Big cat food, but technology and planning gives us the edge. Btw. I liked your suggestion about taxing religions but you are right. Won't happen in our lifetimes, if ever.
