So they were commiting sin whilst believing they were doing God's bidding? Makes no sense. Like I said, mentally disturbed. All of them.
Isn't it deliciously ironic when Christians deny their own people by saying they weren't "true Christians", but when muslims say that terrorists/suicide bombers weren't true Muslims, the Christians refuse to accept that?

I agree. Organized religions of all types owe the world many apologies. Don't hold your breath though, they're all pretty stubborn.

Who said that??!! I never said I wouldn't believe a real muslim if they told me that. I'm sure the same thing applies for them too. However, I'm not a muslim so I can't say I'm concerned at all with whether or not they are or aren't true muslims. I'm a Christian and that's where my concern lies.

Sorry if I sound selfish but I'm just saying.
I was speaking in general rather than specific terms, but just for the sake of interest, what religion were the terrorist that flew planes into the world trade center and the pentagon?

I don't know. Islam? Muslim? Why does it matter? You should be concerned with the deceased family. They are the ones who need the attenting to and the prayer. There are people of no religions that have commited heinous crimes as well. If 9/11 is your excuse for the fact that people of various religions owe the world something, your sadly mistaken. And not to mention how disrespectful your being to muslims. Do you know that praying is what half of America was doing when that happened?!!

Name a religion, and I bet you that I can name something they should apologize for something they have done in the name of their gods or religion.

I'll start you out with a few:

Christianity -- the Holocaust, Crusades, oppression of women, gays, and minorities
Islam -- terrorist attacks, Crusades, oppression of women, gays, and minorities
Judaism -- murders of Palestinians and assassinations of other Arabs
Buddhists -- the Mandalay sacrifices
Hindus -- Thuggee murders
Mormons -- Mountain Meadows massacre

Shall I go on? The point is that all religions have innocent blood on their hands. When atrocities happen, you can't just tsk tsk and say that person or group doesn't belong to your religion. It's clear that they do. So when I see Christians saying that christian terrorists are not christians, but then ignoring Muslims who try to distance themselves from Muslim terrorists, it causes me humor at the whole hypocrisy of the situation. It happens all the time, yes even here on these boards.

Half of America was praying, really? Didn't do a bit of good, did it?
