Of course, rain alone did not flood the earth. And most of earths water is found in the earth, and not in it's seas. And it did not require 1.5 million different species to fill the ark. And it took Noah and his sons about 100 years to build the Ark, and that was with the help of God. Noah did not collect the animals, God brought them to him. And soon others will confirm the existance of the Ark on Mt. Ararat. And then where will your common sense be? Of course, you can always fall back an say anyone who confirms the Arks existance are liars.LOL Thats pretty much what I see on a number of these post now days anyway.
More of the God "POOF" nonsense huh? So I suppose he "poofed" all the food back and animals ( oh and created new species of animals and plants at the same time) back when they flood waters receded as well? He also moved all the continents as well. Where has all his "poofs" been the last 2000 years? And this BS you believe rather than science that has ACTUAL evidence, that you can see and study? So you clearly believe in magic. LOL
Well they would be liars...because there was no global flood, hence no Ark. Anyone claiming to find something that doesn't exist IS a liar.
I think this is the part where the blinders get put on for ark believers. They cannot deal with the fact that there is no evidence of a global flood, that there were civilizations in existence continuously from before until after the worldwide flood, among other things.

Oooohhh eeeeewwwww! Claims without any substantiation! Lemme try! LEMMEE TRY, DANGITT! ('course, mine will not be unsubstantiated... big difference!)
Let's see: Corrections to Tom's wild errors:
1. In fact, most all of the Earth's water IS found in the oceans, obviously. There's not only no evidence of subterranean waters of any real volume, aside from some unscientific wild fantasies posted last year by Tom, which turned out to be bogus, but as well, all those exploration drill holes, you know, the ones where we can "hear" hell (now THAT's a YUK!), do not ever tap into vast bodies of water. In fact, they don't even tap into a little water. Oh, there's some oil from old dinos, yes, but water? Nope.
2. Not to mention that bit of irrefutable math by a thoughtful poster recently that shows it would have taken, what was it, ten times the known volume of water to cover the globe to the claimed level. Not to mention the level by which it would have to have arrived, by whatever means: 11 inches per hour is a LOT of water, Tom. Rain or impossible upwellings notwithstanding, it's still too much water.
3. There are, by actual, physical count, 30+ million species on this planet. And more discovered each and every day, BTW. Now, since there's "No Evolvin' !!!" allowed, and Tom says there was no need for even 1.5 M of them, (at the mythical fairy-tale two-per-each, that'd be only 750k species...), just how, indeed, did we end up with 60 to 100+ M species on this planet today?
(In fact, simple math & logic irrefutably demands at least 500 million to one-billion organisms on board, all with proper habitat, food and water. Fact.)
4. And how do we explain that we have now, also fact, fully documented Evolution when it's strictly "Verboten!"? Huh?
5. Ah yes; you argue with "logic" until it fails, and then you deflect and default to "God brought them to Noah". How? By MAGIC? By instant psychokinetic transportation? Certainly not by any rational or explicable process, obviously, over tens of thousand of miles of hostile land and ocean. But... but still... where's this MAGIC now, Tom? He never demos it now. Ever.
6. How again did Noah keep the various habitat-specific animals and plants, and marine organisms, alive on board his barge, with no power, light, water or heat? Oh yeah; I forgot: MAGIC.
In fact, MAGIC is the only rationale you can fall back on, isn't it, Tom? Because by any logical evaluation, it all falls flat on it's face. Whenever YOU try to use science and logic, it FAILS, totally. Always.

I already told you Rifle, it is their POOF theory. That's all they need to know. Detail Details, to much trouble for them.
It appears that a Chinese and Turkish evangelical team of explorers have discovered the remains of Noah's Ark. Carbon dating has shown the relics from the Ark to be 4,800 years old. Which would be around the time of the Biblical flood. This will be the first time in history that the Arks reality will be revealed to the world at large. The structure contained several compartments, some with wooden beams that is believed were used to house animals. It may be this is but one small section of the Ark, because over the years others have reported the Ark to have been broken up into three or four sections. Local Turkish officials will ask the central government in Ankara to apply for UNESCO World Heritage status so the site can be protected while a major archaelolgical dig is conducted. This section was found at the 13,000 foot elevation. Other sections may be at the 15,000 foot elevation or greater. Wooden planks 8 inches wide and 65 feet long were found around the site. And without a doubt, this construction predated the use of metal nails. The location of this craft, is in the same location as stated in the Bible.
Riiiighht.
OP, you must be younger than 30.
In the 1970's, the ark was supposedly found there by a group of explorers.
This story seems to be a re-hash of the 70's exploration.

Ya know, this is the bottomline with it, isn't it? MAGIC. What has always mystified me about YECs and other fundamentalists/bible literalists is this OBSESSION with attempting to scientifically prove the bible? I mean, how many threads have we had on the Ark where the same "evidence" is presented over and over again and is also clearly debunked over an over again. What is this "Rainman" like behavior about?
The bible is not a science or history book and should not be looked at as such. It is a sacred book that tells religious stories for the purpose of teaching. Granted, there is "some" history in there, it still does not stand in the same realm with Herodotus, Josephus or even a freshman history book. I mean if a person wants to, go ahead, but they shouldn't be too surprised or hurt when people oppose them.
Why can they not just be content with their faith? It must be somewhat agonizing that they can't get people to buy what they are selling. Is that called suffering for Jesus?
