It is called discussion, it is interesting, to me at least why and how people can believe in it. Some are sick of people intruding into their lives with it or trying to get it into places it does not belong . Some are tired of the intolerance and hate that can be spread. Why do believers care if we believe or not?

I have my suspicions.
Some things in the bible are true but not all.

Come on, think about it. If a God is supposed to be all merciful and loving and inspires rules about harming another, why would the same God turn around and do the things He is telling us not to do. Those are the things in the bible that make people not believe in God or the bible.

I have my suspicions.

Demonstrating the Bible is not true makes it easier to repudiate the Bible as a foundation or inspiration to use political force against non-Christians.

Or maybe God behaves in ways that one does not agree with. I don't see God as all loving and merciful. He does things that say otherwise. Yet I am a Christian, because I believe that God is.

Well then, the skeptic guys need to do a better job of it. So far they haven't got past first base and they've been at it since the 1750s.

Nope. How 'bout you?

***************

You seem to not grasp that since the 1750s skeptics have been trying to discredit the Bible and have not suceeded.
