You are right. There is so much we can agree on, and I just love to find common ground between my beliefs and other people's. I do seem to be in the minority, though. Most people seem to like to find those things which separate us.

Why does it seem to push people to insults and ridicule?
Insecurity, lack of understanding, and fear.

I feel sorry for the mods that patrol this section of CD.
Likewise. They do a great job, though.

Not exactly true...The Muslims get their share of the flack, as do some others that proselytize...The ones that don't preach are generally left alone. As soon as you try and convince others that your beliefs are the only right ones, you are telling others that they are wrong and some take offense.

We already got along just fine -- the problem has always been from religious people: they take the matter too personally from time to time.

When we talk about religion, we have implicitly agreed that this is nothing personal -- anyone who disagree should keep it to himself instead of bringing it to a public forum.

Frankly I have to agree with AN. The OP's track record speaks loudly, and his reluctance within this very thread to give straight answers, and to attack someone asking a pertinent question is telling. He's a good example of why we can't "all just along".

Please stay on topic guys..When one person attempts to derail a thread it sometimes calls for many posts to be deleted as was the case here..

Because people hold just that tightly to their belief system. The moment you challenge it, you've opened the floodgates and anything is fair game.

If one side demand for evidence, the other side just say"it's your faith against my faith", do you see where the problem is?

The only evidence of the Jesus story is the word of his own group. Josephus, the Jewish historian at the time all this was supposed to be going on barely mentioned his name. No virgin birth, no miracles, no resurrection. That would be akin to the NYC sports writers never mentioning that Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were good hitters.

How many humans does it take to solve the Puzzel of God?

The question is why are we here...and how do we assend to the next level of the game?

it could of taken a second to fulfill (restore/Put Back) and (repent) by the two who cause it to be like this......and yet we are still here more than 3 thousand years after the fact... 6 billion plus, and they still cannot figure it out even with the word of God infront of them!...go figure?...and even Christ said it is all Good when taken with thanksgiving...Refering to food, plants, and animals..and even insects!

Put back what was taken in disobediance, and restore...how long?

Cause they do not believe in the truth..perhaps?
