religions seem to all typically refer to other dimensions.
just wondered how many here believe that various dimension of time are a real possibility.
imo, religions have fastened themselves to various dimensions of time and not vice-versa.

"G-d" (or any other Gods, Goddesses) is a human invention -- humans pass around the idea in certain religious group not out of some testable evidences but out of faith. Other humans simply say "I don't believe it", because every time I ask them to show some evidences, their response has been "you disapprove it. It's your faith against my faith, therefore we are equal."
It has nothing to do with "denying dimensions".
(it does not affect those un-believers in anyway -- like Forest Gump said "stupid is what stupid does.")

I acknowledge the possibility of other dimensions. I also acknowledge the possibility of the existence of a god or gods. But, there is a big difference between possibility and probability. Although it is possible that a god really does exist, I believe the probability of a god existing is extremely low. Similarly, although it is possible that fairies really do exist, I believe the probability of them existing is extremely low.

Would you clarify a couple of things?
- What is a dimension?
- How do you know there are various (more than one) dimensions of time?

when you say don't believe in a G-d or Gods are you saying you don't believe in the possibility of other dimensions?
No, I'm just saying I don't believe your sky-god stories.

I've been eating up as much as I can read about M-theory and string theory(s). I'm convinced other dimensions exist, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept. What I do know is they would not be anything like someone dwelling in the 4th dimension (like us) could understand, comprehend or exist in as we are now. There would be no fluffy clouds, pearly gates or great bearded white guys.
