i am a catholic and i agree that it is hypocrisy at its finest in that article. that is why before, my reason for not going to church was laziness but now it is coz of that hypocritical display of these priests. i know not all of them are. i googled though and was relieved that there were priests that are in jail right now coz of their henious crimes. what i will never forget was on the very rare ocassion that i do get to church there was a minor scandal on the parish priest that was let go(meaning he was transferred to other parish) coz he was caught stealing the money collected in the offertory.
i mean WTF. i may never step in a church ever again, but my faith in God will always be there. these hypocrites acted on their own selfish reasons and to blame God for their actions is imbecile.
i am pro-life though. and it irritates me that the saved mother already has 5... 5! kids. will it kill them to use contraceptives? i agree with the catholic's stance on abortion. it is simply the respect of life of the fetus conceived coz 2 people has needs.
