Smile Who are some great hairstylists in the Reno/Sparks/Carson area???

Hi everyone,

I'm in great need of names of skilled hairstylists in town or in Carson for my mom.

She keeps it a slightly older style, a short and permed-type style. The lady she's went to for 20 years had to retire. She tried Cost Cutters which is where I was going to and had very good luck - but the lady there couldn't do perms well and didn't know how to fix a perm gone bad and now her hair is burned and looks awful.

Now she hates to go out of the apartment and is very depressed thinking that she won't be able to find anyone to fix it/who does better perms - because it's such a hit and miss as you know!

Please help and thanks much!!
Diane

Smile Best stylist bar none!

I see your post is a few months old but just in case your Mom still needs one or needs a change here 'ya go:

Without doubt the best stylist I have ever had is Deborah at a new salon called Metamorphosis in Double Diamond. I can compare with spas such as the Biltmore, Phoenix, AZ and even Frederic Fakkai's in New York so I am pleased to introduce you to this service provider and lovely spa.

Deborah's specialty is cut and style. Toni who chairs next to Deborah seems to do a lot of clients who fit your Mom's requirements.

Be well,

Citizen 2

Not sure if she still works at Genesis (I moved to Spanish Springs for a while and kind of lost touch), but Bonnie at Genesis is AMAZING. What I love about her is that even though she charges nearly $30 for a simple men's haircut, you can make a follow up appointment for 2 weeks later and she'll do a "touch up" for free (or at least she used to).

Default A great hair stylist in Reno is ...

Katherine Pryor @ Soleil 828-2323. X24. She's simply the best and does a lot of work of the type your mom likes. Give her a call.

you HAVE to go to Metamorphosis and ask for Pam Mood, she is AWESOME! Her attention to detail is amazing. She takes her time cutting and listens to what you want and offers suggestions and feed back. Her work is excellent!!

You wont regret going to her.
