I had an earlier post about thinking about trying to rent my condo in Springland Village because my wife and I have moved to Houston. My question now is how is the rental market in Reno/Sparks and what are the chances I could rent my condo fairly quickly?

I realize the demand for rental housing is up because people have lost homes and jobs. Also, credit is tight and it's hard to get a mortgage. On the other hand, there are more people like me who would like to sell their home but can't so that could put a glut of rentals on the market.

It always seemed like such a no-brainer to rent the Sparks condo, but not if it's going to sit empty on the market for a year or so.

Any thought or advice are greatly appreciated.
