The Vintage Apartments down in South Reno is dog friendly, I'm pretty sure German shepherd is allowed and they have a nice creek that you can stroll, jog and walk the pets.

How do you want your dog to be accepted if you have a problem accepting other dogs. Its because of ignorant people like yourself that people like me that have a pitbull cant find a nice apartment to live in. By the way to answer your question Silver Ridge its a great place very nice and an awsome club house open 7 days a week and with an indoor year round pool. Hope thats good enough for you and your German Shepard.!!!!! Think before you speak

Best to your question, OP: I'd consider contacting a property management office (specialzes in rentals), either a separate office or part of a larger real estate office. If you call a real estate office, even if they don't deal with rentals they should be able to tell you someplace that does. Tell them what you're looking for, and your price range. It's a real long shot, but the local animal shelter or humane society or german shepherd owner's organization might have at least heard of places that allow, or definitely don't allow, larger dogs. The University of Nevada might have a housing office dealing with rentals. Their emphasis is, of course, for students, but they might be able to give you some ideas, since I'd imagine there must be an occasional student with a dog looking for someplace to rent (if not buy).
