My daughter, a single mom with a young child, is living in an apartment for which she has a lease. Several months ago a young woman who works with her made arrangements to move in with my daughter. The agreement was she would help with childcare and pay one half of all groceries. Very quickly it was evident that she wasn't going to contribute and in fact is eating food for the child. My daughter has asked her to leave, but she refuses. Police were called at one point and they stated they could not remove her. What needs to be done? Location is Carson City, Nevada. Thanks.

i had a issue like this in Carson and they removed the person. I had a tooooooo long house guest from F'n helllllllllll. lol I know others too who also had issues and the person was removed if they were not on the lease.

also didn't he C C deputy tell you what your options are??? I find i strange they showed up did not remove the person and not tell your daughter what she has to do. SOMETHING DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT.????????????????????????????????????

you can go to the court house and ask then or call Sheriff Furlong office and ask what your options are

Also she should tell the landlord maybe they can call the sheriff and have them removed.

Anoher point you make that sounds odd is that you said and i quote """""""""""Very quickly it was evident that she wasn't going to contribute""""""""""" why did she wait SEVERAL months as you state????????

Nothing personal make sure your daughter is telling you the ENTIRE story and ask her to give you the name of the sheriff who showed up. again something sounds VERY STRANGE.....and not adding up.

Check with your local eviction laws and follow them exactly.
