Maybe GSR would be better, in that regard. There's a city bus back and forth, but you're probably not interested in that.
Since you're a R-C gal, just book the Peppermill Tuscany rooms and you'll have the best in town. (Yes, I know you said it was too much.)

I live Here lol its the orig poster whom is visiting us. lol But when I go out to reno andknow I will be drinking I stay at the Pepper, Atlantis and GSR.

[mod cut-- discussing the poster, not the topic, and off topic] I go out to the Silver Legacy almost every weekend to party, and there's a huge eclectic mix of people of all income levels. There are ghetto places in town, but calling Silver Legacy ghetto bc you see a dozen dudes in over-sized jerseys is asinine. It's like seeing a dozen dudes in wife beaters by the Truckee River and declaring that the river district is white trash. Aren't you ignoring the cowboys, UNR kids, rich tourists, Chinese tourists, 30-something Bay area tech tourists, some of whom are multi-millionaires, the middle class Sac tourists, the middle class Bay area tourists, the big families? You ignore all these folk and just focus on the few black folk in big jerseys and freak out and declare all of Silver Legacy ghetto? WTF??? Seriously, WTF??? "THOSE TYPES" what are we in the 50's. 'Oh I do declare, those types just turned this here casino into a ghetto!' That bigoted backwards trash talk really disappoints me. I hope nobody reading it thinks it's typical of Renoites.

There is a Ritz, in Truckee not to far from Reno where I visit a great deal with my elite de elite clique -lol-, if that really matters . [mod cut] All I meant by saying I am a Ritz Carlton kinda gal is that I have certain standards when it comes to hotels and where I socialize. [mod cut-- personal attack] If those types are what you like to associate with by all means stay with your tribe, [mod cut-- personal attack] PS. A Ritz kinda gal is a cute term used by my group of ladies from the Junior League. [mod cut-- rude, personal]
