Hi,
We'll be moving to reno very soon and i'm looking for information about schools. i have a 5th grader and a preschooler. I see that coughling ranch, Hunsberger, lenz, gomm, swope, reno hs...are ranked very well, but i wonder about issues like bullying, too much homework, parent involvement, over crowding, etc.
Thanks in advance for your help,
calistro

The best school in N. NV is Coral Academy of Science. It is a (K-12) charter school and has the best academics around.

DEAD WRONG!! Bullying only happens in schools were administration and faculty allow it. Bullying may initiate, but prompt intervention nips it in the bud.

All well run schools will address bullying with anti bullying programs.

If your child is bullied in school and the school or district administration won't stop it, go to the police, file criminal charges on the offenders. Many parents see bullying as part of growing up, and will make up excuses for their child being a bully.

Don't stand for it, go to the police, file criminal charges. If every parent of a bullied child does this, bullying will come to a screeching halt.
