Default Cable and DSL Internet service options

As far as I know the only choices in Reno are Charter for cable and AT&T for DSL. (yes, I'm ignoring satellite, too latent/slow/unreliable for my needs).

Am I missing other DSL/Cable options I should check?

tia

ATT U-Verse unless that is what you meant by AT&T DSL.
We had the fiber Optic U-Verse the past couple of years and loved it.
Prior to that we had Dish for a good long time. We were happy with Dish but thrilled with U-Verse

U-verse internet access is DSL (VDSL or ADSL+2) so yes. I'm looking for other providers as I'll need redundant connections, and quite frankly AT&T internet access prices are terrible so I was hoping for another option.

Well, there is AT&T DSL (it used to be NV Bell), I have this service at one of our offices but it is different from ATT U-Verse. I'm not a techy so I am not sure what the differences are but I know that the ATT I had at my home is different from the AT&T we have at the office.

Cable is Charter

Then there is Dish and Direct TV

Those are all the options I know of.

Then the answer to my question would be no.

I don't think it is, I think it's just Charter.

U-Verse is only in certain parts of town. I absolutely detest Charter Cable so we have AT&T for DSL @ $28 a month and Directv for more a month than I am comfortable paying, but my husband insists on having lots of channels
