What is the best day care in Reno, NV? My daughter and her family are moving there with children ages 1 and 3. Does anyone have experience with a great day care they would recommend? Thanks!

Both of my kids went to Child Garden. The former director who was wonderful now has a day care called Ginny's Child Garden on 7th Street in NW Reno as well as on Reactor Way, Reno. My kids went to the IGT partnered facility. Its been many years, my kids are now 14 & 23 but Ginny's Child Garden has maintained an excellent reputation.

Depends on where they live/work as the metro area is quite spread out. But I REALLY liked Noah's Ark just off of Keystone at St Paul's church. Its older, been around a long time, but by far the best care and enrichment situation of any daycare our daughter attended.

I've also heard good things about Pebbles (at the Rock church).

Sounds like I'm promoting daycare with religious connections, but that's just coincidental. We don't actually participte in any faith-based activities in town, but these two places have had great reputations. And I believe Noah's Ark may just lease space from St. Paul's, don't know if they are affiliated. We never had any mention of the church from the school, othe than they share the same property. However, I do believe that Pebbles may be more attached to The Rock from what I hear.

I personally would stay away from the franchise places as they seem to have a high staff turnover.
