Will be visiting Reno this week and would like to stock up on some Mexican items such as dried chilies, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Winco seems to carry a pretty extensive selection. There's probably some small specialty shops as well, I don't like chilis much so haven't looked.

King's grocery on Wells Ave seems to have a large Mexican inventory.

There is a small Mexican grocery on the NE corner of Plumb and Kietzke that has a wonderful meat counter, we love their Carne Asada.

There are several small neighborhood groceries sprinkled throughout the area including a Mexican grocery on Stead Blvd in the N. Valleys on the corner of SilverLake and Stead Blvd.

Marketon on Wells and Capitol Hill Ave (formerly King Ranch). S. Wells Ave is considered our "Little Mexico". I think Beto's at w 5th St and Bell has the best most authentic tacos that won't get you sick. Cantina at Grand Sierra Resort surprisingly has good Latin food including tacos and 115 tequilas. I'd avoid the food trucks unless you want to leave a trail of diarrhea along I-80 when you leave.
