DFWDave was using Dallas/Fort Worth Texas as a weather comparison, and that's the climate I was referring to when I mentioned summer humidity.

I'm guessing if DFWDave only golfs from March through November in Dallas, his season would likely be shortened to April through October in Reno.

It will be to cold between Dec and lets say March. You may get a few days in between that are warmer.

No Humidity is good, few bugs to deal with is even better. I've heard that the wind blows quite a bit in Reno. Someone told me it blows harder in the Washoe Valley? The wind blows in DFW all year except the Summer when you could use a little breather. I can play golf in the wind but prefer an easy ocean breeze off the Pacific rather than gale-force winds. So, is the wind really bad or just a minor swing adjustment?

Thanks

Maybe you need to specify what is comfortable for you personally.
we DON"T have much humidity...... if we DO its very LOW. with the exception of 2011 2012 you can't golf in the cold an snow.
