Just wondering if anyone knows of good places. I read that they released some east of Reno in 2011... I think it's on my bucket list, so see some in the wild ;-)

It is not near Reno, but we saw a good number of bighorn sheep in the Ruby Mountains outside of Elko. What was odd is we saw them from the road.

it's not exactly in your neck of the woods but.....the mountain pass between pahrump & las vegas during the spring & fall is an EXCELLENT spot to hang out & watch these magnificent creatures

Surely you jest, highways are fine if all you want to see are the usual tourist attractions. Once we drop off our trailer at Panamint Springs we'll likely be mostly off road except to get from one dirt road to another.

I'll keep Boulder City in mind if were ever in that area.

And what? You don't carry two gallons of water? Why would you pay to stay at PSR? When you have millions of acres of free parking?
