Greetings everyone!

Can any long term Reno residents tell me when the winter weather stops and low daily temps stay above freezing? Prefer to hear from a resident than try to decide based on citydata info about the weather.

Live in an RV and will be in Reno area over spring/summer, but not sure when I should arrive. Rv doesn't like freezing weather for more than a day or two!

Thanks

It's hard to say, it's not uncommon for it to snow on June 1st (I remember that specifically because it happened twice after I had planted tomatoes) There are a number of sites where you can look up historical weather data but Reno can be unpredicatable

I've seen it snow in June and August - overnight temps even in early June can plummet once the sun goes down. Summer is short. Fall can be felt often on late August mornings. Its a high desert, warm days cold nights are the norm

I've seen plenty of snow storms in April (as well as June, July, August) but generally things are pretty sunny and warm by sometime in April. Yes, they may still be skiing in May, but the days are usually warm. Of course anything is possible.

I lived in Reno for 20 years - I don't ever remember snow or freezing weather in July. I thought I had read somewhere that July was the only month that had never seen snow but that was years ago and I can't find anything on the net.
