Speaking of maps, here is another really cool map that shows the average home prices in the different neighborhoods of Reno.

Reno Home Prices and Heat Map

Wingate, it just depends on what you are looking for. South and West Reno and very nice and suburban. However, if you want an older more established neighborhood Old SW Reno would be good choice. Downtown is also improving very quickly, and there are some nice condos.

Where are you working?

Big Dave

I might be working at 24 Hour Fitness or maybe at the Powerhouse coming there soon. I just wanna get off the East Coast and I heard Reno Nv is a great place. So I am just trying to see which is the best place to live thats out of downtown. I want something nice and calm not to much noise because I will be working late and working early. Thanks for the help

I agree, it depends on what you're looking for. I live in the North Valleys (89506) and love it. I am out of the hustle and bustle of town, but yet in about 10 min I can be in downtown.
