I'm looking at a job in Minden. I'd need atleast a 3 bed, 2 bath home in the area. Are there any homes in the $170,000 range?

Just looking at realtor.com, it appears:
In Minden condos start at 200k, and houses at about 250k, Gardnerville looks much cheaper and would probably fit your range better. There appears to be at least condos in the range, and maybe some single family homes. It also appears that you could afford Carson City in that range. There are a lot of single family homes in that range. |

Douglas County is one of the more expensive areas in the State. Generally, you'd be able to find an equivalent property for less money up in Carson City, and even less money a little east of Carson in Dayton. Each of these areas would be commutable to Minden.
