Sounds good for Elon, but is it good for his suppliers? Namely, Panasonic? https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/10...for-panasonic/ He can't drag them through the coals forever.

Hardly a force in northern Nevada, far too diversified here now.

Yes, Panasonic is currently on a hiring spree. But again, these are not good paying jobs. Just the average with maybe a bit more to get people to make the drive.

Tesla? He's drowning. Huge layoffs and just dropped the price of the Tesla 3 for the second time. There is a lot of competition coming up through the ranks with the mainstream car makers and he knows it.
