So even a Carson City resident agreeing it is a suburb has no impact?
Sorry, no. Do you agree with everybody from Las Vegas?
The author has no bearing if they're wrong. Calling Truckee and Fernley suburbs of Reno demonstrates this. And like I said saying Truckee is a suburb contradicts your CSA argument. Bye.

A suburb is considered a residential area outlying a city.
Carson City is it's own city...I rarely go into Reno as a Carson City resident as all infrastructure needed is here. I do think of Dayton as a suburb of Carson and I only say that because most people who live in Dayton have to come into Carson for shopping, doctors, employment...many Dayton residents used to live in Carson and moved there for newer housing that is less expensive. It does not have much infrastructure though. Carson is a very small county so 'overflow' housing developments move into Douglas and Lyon counties. Carson has over 50,000 residents so I just don't see it. Mogul or Fernley I would consider suburbs of Reno...Washoe Valley suburb of Reno, not Carson, we existed 20 years before Reno...Kit Carson babbbyyy....1858....

Which is the norm, not the exception. Every town does not have it's own International Airport

Looking forward to becoming one of the snobs in the north!
San Francisco is a suburb of South San Francisco

Berkeley is a suburb of Oakland

Seattle is a suburb of SeaTac

Denver is a suburb of Rocky Mountain Arsenal

That it is a fulll blown freeway which was in fact a complex and difficult build simply to get legislators and government employees to and from work.

And the route before it was quite workable and in fact a pleasant drive.
