Home destroyed by hurricane Laura. Decided to move to Reno, lived in tornado/hurricane alley for too long. Lived in Reno about twenty years ago and really liked it. Can anyone suggest an apartment complex? Must allow cats, prefer pool and utilities paid. Also any should stay away from? Want to be very centrally located, public transportation available. My kids will be coming but they are 26 and 17.

What do you mean by centrally located? Downtown, or just not near the edges?

High rise or low rise?

My coworker lives at The Park at Idlewild, it seems very nice. He has a small dog and I'm sure they allow cats too. They have up to three bedrooms units. No pool, but should be right on the bus route and is next to Idlewild Park (obviously) and the Truckee River. It's a low rise development that is older but was bought and renovated a few years ago.

That's the only one I'm familiar with, I'm afraid.

There are plenty of apartment complexes that are centrally located and on busline with pools. Not many will have all utilities paid.

What is your budget? 1 Bedrooms start at about $1,000, 2 bedrooms $1,200 and 3 bedrooms $1400.
