Any natural lakes with available land for sale/washoe
Looking for some land on or around a "natural" lake in washoe county.
Seems there alot of man made lakes.

Probably because we live in a Desert...
Oh and you better whip out the check book and get ready to pay BIG money for Northern Nevada Lakeside property. Topaz and Tahoe are the two that come to mind.

i am looking in the lake tahoe area, NV side.

I dont have $30mil for 10 acres lakefront 
prices are crazy!
...is washoe lake natural or manmade?

Washoe is natural. Very natural.
It is more akin to a wetland type environment than a lake like Tahoe or Topaz or Donner. It dries up from time to time, overfills from time to time. Very shallow. Beautiful as all heck though.

wetland????? hmmm that makes sense. I didnt see any homes for sale lakeside.
Is that area at altitude? How are the summer months? HOT like vegas or??

It breaks 100 a couple of times in the summer. Usually stays in the 80's and 90's. Gets pretty cold in winter, snows a bit. Not like Vegas at all. We have 4 seasons, and they come 5/6 times a day.
The entire state is at altitude north of Vegas. Reno is at 4500'. I live at 5300'.
