Hi folks,

I was wondering, since the job situation for the Tahoe area from an internet perspective is not very pleasant looking, is it a common or even acceptable thing to find out contacts at companies in departments relevant to your work expertise, and ask them if they have any use for a .. so and so... at the moment?

So, does it happen that HR personnel, or for example IT managers consider random applications for positions inside an IT department, sent to them via email? Or do these usually land in the trash or spam folders ?

Has anyone experience with this or heard of cases like that?
