Alicia64 will become famous soon enoughAlicia64 will become famous soon enough
Thanks!!

I'm also thinking of doing an MS Dixie Paddlewheel trip during the day around the lake. Good idea or bad? They have a Mark Twain actor on board who tells stories for the kids. I thought my boys would like it.

No matter how I searched, I can't find a website on this restaurant: Lew Marnells on Park ave.

Thanks again,

Alley

The boat excursions are great, having Mark Twain around will add to the experience. Taking the evening dinner cruise is enchanting, putting around Emerald Bay is like boating through Yosemite.

Remember, at some point in the year they put the boats away for the winter, as I recollect.

Driving to South Shore for the boat excursion is one of the very few reasons I can find for going to South Shore.

I think the Paddle Wheeler would be mandatory with kids,if its still there, and Circus Circus in Reno. The Beach at the NorthEast end in Nevada is a good family place. I'd get a Condo.

Circus Circus can be good, last few times I was there, there were a lot of undesirable teens, watch your kids. And Virginia City is a must see, you can tour an old mine, the train might be running, check on it, it is worth the trip.

I think the beach he refers to is Sand Harbor, in summer great, winter a little nippy.
