Someone broke into my apt twice the second time the door was broken the manager says they have a witness that my son did it but wen ny other son got home he saw the door broken n went to his brother who was asleep now the manager wants me to pay for the door how can i avoid this which was not done by my sonmy other son and his friend were both witnesses that my son the accussed was asleep

Did you file a police report on both occasions? Your "sleeping son" slept right through someone breaking in the door and into the apartment? Not that it really makes a lot of difference because, yes, you're responsible for having the door fixed.

Maybe you can purchase a more substantial door which can better withstand an attempted break-in.

The apartment building since it is a piblic building has to comply with ADA requirements. Contact a lawyer specializing in ADA and send them a lawsuit notice.

You should be able to contact the managers office if its a corporation or go through an find the owner of the building and send Gina certified letter about your complaints.

How to F do people run businesses like this? I would fire my management company if I heard they did not address my tenants concerns. There is a reason IMO longer have a management company. The only one worth a damn hs one great guy. He left the company went to crap
