We have just paid for a background check for an apartment and the lady told us that the online site she used said "accept with conditions" we have always paid our rent on time and have been very clean tenants, but i dont have any credit history as i have only lived in the country for 2 years and havent any credit or debt, and my hubby who is from here has only a medium level of good credit, can anyone tell me what "accept with conditions" means and if my brother-in-law signs with us for the apartment would it help? the lady from the apartments said she will do her best for us, but it is up to "corporate" to make the decision, when she submits the application.

Start a new thread..it's easier to follow and easier to get the answers you want.

The conditions may include a co-signer or a larger cash deposit..you won't know unless you ask the leasing agent in the office. Every complex has their own set of rules they go by.
