Unless your original lease had a clause stating it auto-renews, then you are now a month-to-month tenant. And even if your original lease did have such a clause, it may or may not actually be enforceable.

You only have to give 7 days notice in North Carolina to your landlord that you intend on moving. If he has a problem with it, tell him to show you a current signed lease that says otherwise.

pls. let know the possible way which will help immediately made the tenant to vacate and handover the portion to the LL.
when the tenant who is over stayed after lease period expires, and not vacating and handing over the portion, how to made them to out from the portion.

If they refuse to move, you will have to evict them. I suggest that you hire a lawyer who specializes in evictions to make sure the proper paperwork gets filed when it is due.
