Hi Seattle:

I have just been offered a position in South Seattle (Renton) and need to be there in 2 weeks by 9/20/11. I need a service other than Apartment Finders to help me find a condo or townhouse in the West Seattle area. I have called realtors and googled but have not found a company offering this service. I need for the company to go out and look at the property and answer some specific questions about the townhouse or condo I would be renting. I do not want to be in a high rise apt. building.

As I mentioned, I will be working in Renton but prefer the feel and personality of the these areas:Queen Anne, Ballard and Capitol Hill although know the commute is too far for me. I am looking for a relatively quiet place near a large park where I can get a 3 mile run/walk in every morning before work. I want to avoid navigating around the Alaskan viaduct project also.

I really appreciate any ideas or suggestions!

Find one of the extended stay suite places for the first month or so...
then YOU can do the seeking out to your tastes and on your own.

I definitely recommend NOT ever renting something sight unseen ever. Find temporary accommodations close to work if possible, such as the extended stay motels, then look in person for what you want.

It is also not fair to ask someone else to do your looking for you even if it's a friend. You're the one going to be living in the place, so you should make your own choices.
