My lawyer will prepare a memorandum of agreement or stipulated agreement or acknowledgment of debt in certain cases... I have never seen him prepare a promissory note.

The longer the delay... the less chance of collecting.

Winning is usually the easy part... collecting is the real challenge.

Most I know that collect do it out of principal... they are relentless in their determination... even it means they expend a large amount of time for little return.

Mostly Prinicpal and the fact that I bent over backwards to help her(she was a Tornado victim from April 27) I guess, I've learned and expensive lesson.
