Seriously?

If you are going to rent out a CLOSET, as a LL or a tenant, get a signed lease.

I know even having a written/signed lease doesn't mean issues will arise, but it certainly provides more protection (and clarity) for both sides if there IS one.

SMH.

My Lease's are written to protect me, I think the courts do a good job of protecting the tenants, try to move one out for non payment and see how fast they have to move...

I have no closets, yet I suspect 2 have to agree on moving in and renting the area..
The smaller the space the less it cost to heat and cool, also it hold less furniture...
In the end we all will find ourself in a 3x3x8 or smaller box..
RIP

1. Because they think a few hundred bucks a month is going to be easy money with no consequences attached.

2. Because they do not want to abide by the laws that do protect all of us for the most part, in rental situations.

3. Because they are too lazy to learn how that law applies to them in their particular circumstance - ? why ? refer to #1. Ignorance is no defense.
