Yes exactly. Its a total waste of my time and I just won't rent to anyone who is not fully prepared to pay the standard first, last and security. Like that folder of preparedness from a previous poster, its pretty telling that something else is awry if you have not managed to save that amount prior to moving, or that I will discover that your income level is too low to afford the place.
