My boyfriend and I have recently separated and I'm curious if he has rights to come back or not. He is on the lease because I put him on there when we were moving in and he was suppossed to go to the office and sign it sometime later and never has. I did sign however and I'm curious if I'm allowed to change the locks and not give him a key after his stuff is out? I don't want to worry about him goin to the office to get a key or coming in when I'm not there. Does he have rights to the place even though he didn't sign?

If he moves out, then no. If he refuses to move out, then you might have a problem.

You need to notify your LL before changing the locks, btw.

I'd suggest too that, when he leaves, you advise management - in writing - and also point out that he never was a signatory to the lease and therefore has no right to re-entry.
