I"m not sure what you mean. I was speaking about the specific issue in the post I replied too. I believe that you owe the money for the repairs, after all you did the damage. If you go to court I'm sure you will find this out for yourself.

I mentioned California law and you still failed to read that I guess. Premoveout inspection is solely for you the renter. You have to make the time to go and you stated that you never made it to the inspection. The State law says that it is up to you to make it to that meeting. Also the LL can charge for items missed during the premoveout inspection that were not visible during that inspection. The lease will supercede anything that he said she said. Lease said to clean the carpet. You did not do that.

I think it says a lot that multiple TV court shows would love to take this case.

I'm guessing the response to the complaint did it!

Why not go on TV? Don't they offer to pay for those that are on the show? Then again I am being selfish here. I just want to see how this turns out and doubt that we will get to find out here on City Data Forum.

TV is calling you because yours is the perfect case for everyone to laugh at. Not because you have a good case or will win.

You're failing (epic failing) to take the least bit of responsibility for your actions. Please work on becoming a mature adult before attempting to guide children on their path.
