We have a rental in Wimberley on the family ranch. Recently remodeled, 2 bedrooms/1 bath with access to a really nice arena. Perfect for one or 2 people who prefer country living! How do I get the word out without paying for ads?

Craigs List & a big "Home for Rent" sign visible from the main road that passes the property.

Advertise on Craigslist. Use lots of photos. If you allow a horse, put that into the title for the ad.

You might try an ad in the Farming section of Craigslist as well as the houses for rent section.

Not many rentals allow horses, and people with a horse or two and not a million dollar income are always looking for a place where they can have the horse at home and not have to pay $3500 a month.

Locally, there are several free horse magazines that are handed out in the feed store. Ads in those are extremely cheap. If you want someone farm oriented that has a horse, it might be worth paying the $10 or so that an ad costs in one of those. In some of them the classifieds (with no photo) are free.
