I've been working since i was 14 i'm 39 now. My mother also worked for about 20 years. My siblings also work so we all paid into the system for her to use it. Let me know if you want a dollar for what your tax dollars that went to my mother specifically and i will mail it to you. 55+ million people on some sort of welfare program in this country. The taxes taken out of your check are spread out among those 55 million people so in reality we are talk under a penny 1/10s of a cent of your personal taxes go to my mother out of your checks. But i'll be generous and send you a buck

I don't mind the little bit of taxes that come out of my checks that will help the elderly, poor, disabled and children. I do mind corporate welfare for large corps receiving billions in tax breaks on the public dole. That and the billions spent in Iraq for them to keep blowing it up over and over again for us to waste money to rebuild over and over again.

I'm not a socialist but I'm not an animal that would let another human being be homeless or starve.

Lastly who said your responsiblity to provide her with "excellent" housing. You obviously are a slumlord and yes i am working on buying property and getting her off the program but right now i have my own financial issues...not that i need to explain to you.

p.s. With your train of thinking "why should i pay for your mother" Lets talk about what i pay for you to have... You sound old so the medical coverage costs more for people your age with pre-existing conditions. Why should i pay for your poor health? You pay for your own insurance but all tax payers put into the pot just like car insurance. Also did you have kids in public school? Why should i pay for your kids schooling you should pay 100% for private education your kids aren't my kids...

How does that sound?

She broke every window she could to the tune of $2100...

I did not break the windows and had nothing to do with it.

My insurance declined saying it was between me and my tenant... the Mom would not press charges...

Had this NOT been Section 8 I would have been holding $3200 deposit instead of $75
Why couldn't you have pressed charges? She vandalized your property.

Neither the mother nor the daughter is likely to have any assets, so suing would gain the LL nothing.

Not sure how my pressing charges would have fixed the damages.

The main reason is I did not witness the destruction... I did file a police report and because the child is a minor the report is sealed...

Plenty of people reported seeing the girl on a rampage but being neighbors none were willing to do more than tell me witch is the way it is today.

How to get section 8 tenant out?

There should be a product for that, kinda like below. Just spray and the problem goes away.
